Accessibility
Our commitment to making the world’s stories open to everyone.
Last updated: June 27, 2026
The Royal Star Opera believes the world’s stories belong to everyone. We aim to make this Site and our productions as accessible as we can, and to keep improving.
On this Site
- Clean, semantic headings and a consistent, keyboard-friendly navigation.
- Strong colour contrast between text and background, and scalable text that responds to your browser’s zoom and font-size settings.
- A layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops.
In our operas
- Sung subtitles. Every opera includes on-screen text of the sung libretto, so you can follow the words as well as the music.
- Audio and video. Each work is released in both forms, so you can choose to watch or simply listen.
Help us do better
Accessibility is never finished. If you encounter a barrier on the Site or in a production — or you have a suggestion — please tell us at support@royalstaropera.com and we’ll do our best to put it right.
